About Me
Storytelling and creativity have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in San Diego, California, I was inspired by worlds like Star Wars and shows like Adventure Time - stories that sparked my imagination and made me want to create films and television that leave a lasting impact on people the same way they did for me.
I began pursuing that passion at San Diego City College, where I earned my Associate’s degree in Film and Television. There, I developed a strong foundation in filmmaking while sharpening both my creative instincts and technical skills. Later, I moved to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona, earning my BA in Film & Television. During my time there, I became heavily involved in the university’s film community, collaborating with fellow creatives and writing and directing my own short film Locked Out.
It was also at the University of Arizona that I discovered my passion for Post Production Sound while working on the 2025 BFA Senior Thesis film The World We Live In, directed by Xander Maniece. What began as my first experience in post sound quickly became a defining creative pursuit. My work not only impressed faculty and classmates, but went on to earn a NATAS Student Emmy for Best Sound Design.
That experience led to opportunities in Post Production Sound on three additional BFA thesis films in the 2026 lineup, including Be Still, Boone, written and directed by Clinton Willis and starring Craig T. Nelson (Coach, The Incredibles).
While sound design is my primary focus, I’m always excited to wear multiple hats throughout the filmmaking process. In the BFA 2026 lineup, I not only served as Sound Editor/Mixer, but also a Producer for Rebranding Bob, directed by Kaitlyn Liddicoat. Being my very first role as Producer, I brought a level of organization and stability during pre-production, creating forms for the cast and crew to fill out, contacting cast and crew on their availability, sending out emails, and securing locations, to name a few.
I also experiment with 2D Animation, posting my progress on social media and cultivating a decent online following. My goal with my animations is to create long form, story driven content in the form of an independent web series, with a pilot already in pre-production. I love collaborating with passionate creatives and helping bring stories to life in whatever way I can.
Currently based in Tucson, Arizona, I continue pursuing sound design while contributing to as many film projects as possible. I pride myself on being dependable, punctual, and fully committed to every project I take on. My goal is always to elevate a creator’s vision through immersive, polished, and impactful sound. I’m also open to assistant positions and willing to relocate for the right opportunity. Thanks for taking the time to learn a little about me. I’d love the chance to help bring your story to life.
